WAITANGI DAY COMMUNITY DAY… Join us for a fantastic day of culture, food, and fun and unity on Thursday, 6th February! We’re excited to welcome everyone to an open day that celebrates our heritage and community spirit.
**FREE MUSEUM ENTRY + FREE KAI**
Free open day where you can explore Thames Heritage and enjoy a delicious BBQ sausage sizzle!
**WHĀNAU ACTIVITIES**
Bring the whole Whānau to the help create a community Korowai using old clothing and material scraps. We will create individual feathers and attach them to a large blank Korowai. We’ll display the finished community Korowai in our community/education space!
There will be free face painting to get everyone in the spirit!
**DOORS OPEN**
10 AM – 4 PM – Carnegie Library, 705 Queen Street.
