Whether you're chasing your first bluefin or you're a seasoned SBT hunter, this is one night you don’t want to miss!

We’ve teamed up with the New Zealand Sports Fishing Council and Coastguard NZ to host a Southern Bluefin Tuna Pre-Season Seminar right here in Tairua and it’s absolutely FREE.

This session is all about preparing anglers for a safer, more successful SBT season and learning from some of the best in the game. Topics include:

Boat and gear setup
Spreads, lures, and rigging
Safety planning & bar crossings
Navigation tools & local hotspots
Fishing techniques (trolling, jigging, topwater)
How to fish around commercial fleets

Food and drinks will be available. It’s casual, all welcome just turn up.

Looking forward to seeing you on the night!
