Family Day Theme Retained for Thames Races

Annual race day tomorrow for the Thames Jockey Club, the meeting being held at the recently renovated Te Aroha course.
For 157 years the club has been around and president, Glen Dobler, said tomorrow will be no different with its friendly family fun day at the races.
The feature race is the Lockwood Coromandel Peninsula Thames Gold Cup which jumps at 4.30pm. The 1600m race carries prize-money of $25,000.
