Simpson Responds to Cyclone Recovery Funding for Business

Business recovery funding for the Coromandel Peninsula, Hauraki District and Waikato has a shortfall of $7 million dollars when considering applications lodged, and the funding available.
This despite the Government saying it had boosted the original cyclone recovery fund by $25 million.
The region has received $3.8 million – there have been 508 applications with a request total of $10.8 million.
