Waikato Regional Council Environmental grants

If you have a project that aims to enhance our region’s biodiversity or educate people about the environment, you may be eligible to apply for up to $40,000 

Applications open for The Environmental Fund on 24 June and close on 19 July. 

The types of projects that can be funded: 

• Local environmental restoration projects 
• Practical environmental initiatives that involve community participation 
• Educational or promotional activities that raise awareness of environmental issues.
