Ayana Piper-Healion

Introducing Ayana… after growing up in Whitianga and attending Mercury Bay Area School, Ayana left to work in the Navy for a couple years and then completed a Bachelor of Communications at AUT.

She’s thrilled at being able to leave the city after study and come back to her home town and the community she cares about. Her passion for local radio and local people is infectious!

Ayana loves the ocean and when she’s not in the studio, you’ll most likely find her either on it or in it- she’s also an avid snowboarder and hiker (another reason she loves the Coromandel…all the hiking trails!).
