We have listened to what members have said and made a few changes for our next beach hop parkover due to it being our 10th year now holding this.

We are going to allow check-ins on Tuesday and Thursday from 2pm – 5pm only to help some that want to get set up this year.

We have got a few prizes to be won also

A ) Best site display, so add some lights and flags to make your site stand out ( battery Town battery to be won )
B ) Photo board challenge for NZMTG members only, win a two night stay on a powered site and pizza at Hot Water Beach Top 10 Holiday Park.

We offer this to NZMTG members to be able to confirm their site first, then it will be open to the public to book, so don’t miss out and confirm yours before we get booked out again.

There will be a number of NZMTG social outings put in place for those who want to join us over the parkover period, that will be added closer to the event, so if you have never being to the beach hop before this would be the perfect time to come, plus you don’t have to be into hot rods to enjoy this social event, but it would help of course.

It’s going to be a social week celebrating 10 years of holding the best parkover for the beach hop, and that’s just what our members say.

Please remember we are not a commercial campground and many hours go into putting this park over in place, and make it run as smoothly as is does, let alone Mark setting it up and running it by himself for the week, so the times and terms laid out are there for a reason as Mark at times will be off site holding other social actives with members.

DATES: 24th – 31st March 2024

Gates will be open Monday at 10am so you can start rolling in to get set up, and we have to be gone by the following Monday by 10am, so yes you can come and stay for a week and enjoy this great event.

Location:126 b Mayfair avenue reserve Whangamata
Look for the bus stop shelter located in front of the community gardens and the main gate into the reserve.

SITES:
We have put in place larger sites for our NZMTG members and the public who require a deluxe site, If you are bringing an extra trailer or hot rod / custom car and require extra room, then you are more than welcome to book in a deluxe site we are offering, a lot of our members love how they can have their custom cars parked beside them when staying and still have lots of room to set up the BBQ table and chairs.

But we also have to be fair, so if you need extra room please book it in and don’t just expect it !!.

PETS:
Dog friendly however all dogs must be well managed whilst in the reserve, that means on a lead !!.

NO DOGS to be in or around the social marquees / social area at all times.

There is a walkway track along the water’s edge of the parkover that is nice to walk your dogs along.
