Colville Festival

This year’s Colville Festival promises a day full of community spirit, creativity, and fun. Taking place on Labour Weekend Saturday, the festival will fill the tennis courts from 10am to 4pm with a vibrant market featuring local artists, craftspeople, community groups, and of course, delicious food. You’ll even find the festival’s fundraising stall selling second-hand treasures on commission – so if you’re looking to declutter and make some extra cash, get in touch to help sell your pre-loved items.

Throughout the market, enjoy spontaneous live music performances by talented locals. Don’t miss the free circus workshops run by Black Sheep Circus at 10am and 1pm, where kids and adults can have a go at juggling, hula hoops, plate spinning, and other circus skills in a fun, welcoming environment.

As day turns to night, the festival continues from 6pm with a ticketed music night on the Colville Tennis Courts. Get ready to dance as Taranaki’s high-energy 7-piece indie band The Mara and Christchurch world music trio Mundi take the stage. Locals DJ Tiny Diva and DJ Kiamaia, will keep the beats flowing late into the night. This will be a low alcohol event.

The event will go ahead come rain or shine, with all activities moving indoors to the Colville Hall if the weather turns.
