Writers often need space and time for reflection and writing away from distractions of a busy life.
A time to dedicate to their own craft.
Some need the energy and sense of community that meeting other writers can bring.
Join us for space and time to work on your own writing, opportunities to gather and meet with other writers, optional writing workshops and excursions to explore the magical northern Coromandel.
A place of bush-clad slopes, beautiful beaches and vistas across farmland and Tīkapa Moana/Hauraki Gulf.
With shared accommodation options in holiday homes from Colville, Little Bay, Tuateawa, we will provide a mix of private working time and opportunities for connection with other writers.
Our excursions include a fabulous guided day trip up to Port Jackson, or nature writing and exploring in Little Bay.
We will share a welcome BBQ and farewell lunch, otherwise the retreat is self-catering.
Workshops on weaving ideas into story and on learning the tips and tricks of self-editing with author Stephanie Parkyn will be held on Saturday 24th May.
