Drift into the dream time in the sanctuary of Mana Retreat Centre.
Join in for what promises to be a captivating evening. Besides didgeridoos Sika plays an extraordinary range of natural instruments, including drums, native flutes and Taonga pūoro (‘singing treasures’).
Sika is a sound artist and multi-instrumentalist based in the South Island of New Zealand. He is one of the world’s most experienced Sound Journey facilitators. You can learn more on his website.
Details:
Take along whatever you need to lie comfortably – a yoga mat, blanket(s) and a small pillow or cushion for your head. If you prefer to stand or sit that’s completely fine. It’s your journey.
It is recommended that you bring a journal to capture any insights or images you may experience, plus a bottle of water.
There will be two sound journeys during the evening, with an interval in between.
Tickets are available in advance via Eventfinda. Any extras will be sold on the door, first come first served. If you are paying on arrival please bring cash with you.
Sound journey CDs will also be available to buy on the night, cash only.
