Youth Search & Rescue (Ysar)

YSAR is a NZ charity set up to help secondary school students develop personal, life and leadership skills by contributing through search & rescue and emergency response. 

Students gain recognised qualifications to start their journey as national search & rescue & emergency management responders.  

Student applications are now open to the youth of the Coromandel. To be eligible, they must be between 14-16 years on the 1st of February 2024.
