Aviation Bonus Could Fly for Thames

Breathing new life into the Thames Airfield along with more tourists being attracted to the town are just two of the immediate benefits from the unique Aviator attraction.

After being in operation for the past 17 months following a relocation from Tauranga Airport, the venture is seeing 50 percent of users coming from outside of the region.

Operator Craig Saunders has become involved with a likeminded group working towards developing Thames Airfield opportunities through an Aviation Centre. The centre would be developed on the back of the Aviator success.
