Hauraki Residents Slow on Water Management Feedback

A slow response from Hauraki district residents in having a say on their proposed Local Waters Done Well management options.

The opportunity for feedback closes this Friday with Mayor Toby Adams encouraging people to express an opinion.

He said while the matter was extremely complex it was one of the biggest decisions for the region in recent years.

The mayor said while a number of people had approached elected members and staff when at functions and events with questions on future water management, there are numerous options available for people to have their say.
