RAT TESTING – THAMES COROMANDEL UPDATE

Covid-19 is spreading and we are now in Phase 3 of the Covid-19 plan. If you have symptoms then you should get tested. The following details have been advised in regard to where you can go to get tested. Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT)
This arrangement commences from today – Tuesday 1 March 2022
RAT’s will only be distributed to household contacts and/ symptomatic patients who must attend in person to get the test kit. The following are locations and times where these are available.
As mentioned, you must attend in person to collect these and results must record their RAT results on the MyCovid Tracer APP (How to: In My Covid Tracer app – Dashboard (bottom left) – More Info (top right) – My Covid Record (blue box) – Log in with My Health Account (log in with RealMe to access your My Health Account))
Eventually you will be able to Click and Collect these and this has created some confusion as this facility is not available at the moment and more information will be provided when that is available.
RAT tests are also available to purchase at selected chemists and will soon be available in some supermarkets.
