A free Bar Awareness Seminar will be held at Matarangi Fire Station at 10am on Saturday 28 December.
The seminar is designed to equip boaties with the skills, knowledge and confidence to make good decisions about whether to cross a bar. The seminar covers critical topics including understanding bar specific hazards, assessing the impact of weather and tides and implementing emergency procedures if trouble occurs.
A must for all boaties.
