A pass mark from Police for New year’s eve behaviour around the district with both arrests and liquor ban infringements down on previous years.
Local police spokesman Inspector Mike Henwood confirmed that 20 people were arrested in Whangamata, along with a small number across the rest of the Coromandel Peninsula.
