RSA Presidents Hope For Strong ANZAC Day Support

Organisers of numerous ANZAC Parades and services across the district tomorrow are hoping that previous trends will continue with large turnouts at dawn and civic events.

Hosting its more traditional dawn parade at Paeroa’s Primrose Hill, RSA Club president, John Hallett, said it is a service which is appropriate therefore no changes are needed. He is anticipating a good turnout.

Whitianga RSA has been on the hunt of photographic images so that the soldiers who are named on the cenotaph can be identified.

Club President, Trevor Fraser, said the images would be displayed at the town’s dawn service.
