Pig Hunting Competition at Matatoki School

1st 2nd & 3rd August 2025

RULES

1. $50 per ticket. One boar weighed per ticket. Anyone can buy more than one ticket. Kids $5 entry paid on the day

2. Entries close and confirmed by 10pm 31 July 2025 for manual sales. Internet entries money in our bank account by morning of the 1st August Bank account. 02-0456-0102347-001.

3. No late entries will be accepted

4. Boars only, minimum weight 30kg

5. Boars must be weighed by the persons on the hunt

6. All boars must be wild – no trapped, tamed or feed boars.

7. Photos with guts in, then out, WHERE PIG WAS CAUGHT in same location, (WITH GPS CO-ORDINATES) of kill, WILL be required if any suspect pigs are weighed. For heaviest boar this will be a mandatory requirement. If in doubt take the photos!!

8. All carcasses must be whole and fit for human consumption

9. No mutilated or decomposing pigs will be accepted

10. All boars must be presented CLEAN GUTTED,BUM HOLES OUT{INCUDING GLANDS} PIZZLES OFF, NUTS IN.

11. All boars must be caught between 1.00am friday 1st August and final weigh in ending 3pm Sunday 3rd August 2025.

12. All ticket holders must be present at prize giving to receive any prizes.

13. Weigh in between 1pm & 3pm on Sunday 3rd August 2025

14. In the event of a tie, the first boar weighed in wins the prize.

15. Weigh masters and committee’s decision is final

16. The organisers have the right to refuse an entry into the competition

17. Kids 16 years and under, maximum 1 animal per section, Possum, Rabbit or Magpie

All participants enter at their own free will. Matatoki School, organisers and sponsors will not be held liable for any injuries or misadventures.
