On Wednesday, 6 August at 9 am, Coastcare will host a working bee and planting event at the pines in Matarangi on the beach.
We just have a few more trays of Spinifex to get in the ground, and the GBN team have been down on the beach removing the weeds and getting the site ready.
Where: Meeting on the beach in front of Access 24.
What: Weeding and planting dune plants.

What to bring: Please ensure that you have covered shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, drinking water and a friend or two.
Coastcare is fully equipped with spades, gloves and other equipment. There will be a team to assist with digging holes and ensuring that volunteers have what they need.
