Tairua Heritage Players present a show full of nostalgia and mirth. ’When Tairua Rocked and Rolled- the 60s’ is a musical comedy featuring the history of some of the major events that took place in Tairua in that decade. BUT it’s not a dry history lesson – the stories are told through film and imagined scenes with humorous folk and, not surprisingly, some of the most iconic songs of the 60s.
Come and laugh at the exploits of some of the ‘characters’, enjoy reminiscing about a time of excitement in the town, a time when huge changes were taking place and, of course, join in singing some of those great hits with the cast and the band.
