Designs Revealed for Community Marae and Wellbeing Hub

Under the banner of shaping the future of our community, a significant step this week for the proposed Whangamata Community Marae and Wellbeing Hub development.

The trust undertaking the project revealed concept designs for the marae and the supporting community buildings.

Trust chairman Ryan Thompson shared the designs with representatives of the six groups involved and more than 160 local residents.

The design features the community marae with a separate community facility building and the premises to house the Eastern Coromandel Community Services Trust.
