Calling all Volunteers. Coastcare is hosting working bee events along the beach in Matarangi on the fourth Wednesday of the month. Together we can care for our coast.
We will be caring for the dunes by removing rubbish and weeds, with support from our local partners and volunteers. Everyone is welcome.
Where: Meeting sites vary, June 24th is at the Pines.
What: Weeding and planting dune plants.
What to bring: Please make sure you have covered shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, drinking water, and a friend or two.
Coastcare is fully equipped with shovels, gloves, and other necessary equipment. A team will be available to assist with weed removal, ensuring that volunteers have everything they need.
