Seldom do we hear of a story that tugs at the heart strings as much as this story about a dog called TU who went missing from its family home in Manaia on 10 July. TU is a Therapy dog for Naleigh a 13-year-old boy who has autism. Naleigh is beside himself with worry for his beloved dog and goes for daily walks hoping to spot his friend and companion.
Despite a multitude of social media posts and many locals searching the dog has not been located or sighted over this time. This has led them to the belief that the most likely situation is that TU has been taken by someone and if this is the case they are appealing to them to please return TU for Naleigh and the family who desperately want him back supporting this distraught 13 year old boy.
Someone must know what has happened to TU and CFM are joining the many voices asking for the dogâs return. If you have seen TU or know anything about his whereabouts then call the station on 07 228 0540 option 7 and leave a message with details and a contact number. The reward will be paid for information that leads to the safe return of this Therapy dog.
You can help this by sharing this information far and wide. The family have posted his disappearance on the Lost Pet Finders site and all local Facebook groups.
