Ultra High End Travellers The New Target

A focus on the international market with a particular interest in luxury high end travellers, this yesterday from the Board of the district’s Regional Tourism Organisation – Destination Hauraki Coromandel at its annual general meeting.

Chairman, Jason Hill, said the Coromandel Peninsula and Hauraki district was well positioned to attract the high value travellers.

He said that while there was emphasis on the international tourists, the organisation had assisted in domestic marketing, particularly after weather events, and during the off-season winter months.
