Coromandel Arts Tour

Every year on the first two weekends of October, artists open their studios for you to visit. Call first at the Hauraki House Gallery at the top of the Coromandel town centre. See a work from each artist, chat to working artists in pop-up studios, pick up a Guide and map to update and plan your itinerary. While you’re there try your skills at one of the ongoing interactive art projects.

Open Studios Coromandel ArtsTour – Artists at Work in their Studios

Experience a personal side of Coromandel Town. Meet up to 35 artists whose work covers an extensive range of techniques.

Explore studios that are found in exhibition galleries, work spaces with magnificent sea and landscape views and rustic workshops surrounded by bush, filled with bird song.

Throughout both weekends and the days in between, each artist will display a work at the Hauraki House Gallery. The Gallery is a great starting point to pick up the Artist Guide and plan weekend studio visits.

Artists, art lovers and friends are invited to the gala opening that celebrates the start of the event. Meet the artists and see their work.
