Survey – Impacts Resulting From Summer Weather Events
Written by John Grant on May 7, 2023
Today we are launching a survey on the impacts for individuals and businesses from the summer of adverse weather. It covers, impacts, communications, roading, business support and more. The
The survey goes beyond just impacts and also looks at how well you believe you were kept up to date with developments as the storm(s) impacted communities on the Coromandel and Northern Hauraki districts.
The aftermath of the weather events are still being felt and we at CFM want to hear what you have to say. As a media business we take our roll seriously and the feedback will help us focus on aspects of the response that we can focus on and learn from.
We have heard many comments from communities regarding how this has impacted them not only while the storms were happening but also after the event. Some communities have talked about what it was like to be totally isolated for days with no contact over that period of time.
We will share these results with everyone and will also share with the various organisations that are responsible for providing support and services during these events.
Please take time (3 to 5 minutes) to complete this. Also share with friends or your local community. The data is confidential and nothing that identifies you will be released. We ask for your contact details up front and this is for mailing of newsletters and general information we send out from time to time. Just ignore this and press continue if you don’t want to be on our news list. We will also let you know when the survey results are ready to be reviewed.
