Minor Technical Issues Whangamata Transmission Area

Last night we lost our main link to our transmitter at McBeth Road. The issue is at the link site on Paul Rd Pumpkin Hill and requires a replacement Microwave link to be installed. This is up the large tower on Paul Road and obviously will not be happening in these conditions.

We do have backup’s in place for this and our programme is still being transmitted to the Whangamata and surrounding areas. However, you will experience some distortion on fringe signal areas such as the road from Whangamata to Tairua Road and at Onemana and Opoutere. Please accept our apologies.
