Flight Simulator Takes Off

There is a new tourist attraction in the Karangahake Gorge being The Aviator.
The man behind the project is Craig Saunders who has moved his flight simulator experience from Mount Maunganui and relocated them to a café at Karangahake in the Gorge on SH2.
For the flight and pilot junkie or those just wanting the thrill of being at the controls of a Second World War Spitfire, Craig has produced heaven.
He has four simulators that recreate the pure flying experience across a range of warbird aircraft and modern military jets, plus he has two helicopter options.
