Stay Home Today While Storm Front Passes

Stay home today is the advice of Thames Coromandel Civil Defence today as the wild latest storm front passes over the region.
This morning the 9.30am high tide was playing havoc with roads, with Garry Towler reporting many roads around the region being closed.
Many schools also closed, power was out at Hikuai after being restored in Whitianga.
