Season Opener Introduces New Blood

A number of players in this year’s Thames Valley Heartland rugby team will be making their provincial debut tomorrow in the team’s championship opener.
The situation is not lost on co-coach, David Harrison, this week saying there was a new challenge with a bit of a new look team.
The Valley Swamp Fox are playing their opening championship match at the venue where its last season ended. Whanganui is the opposition with the home advantage at Cooks Garden. Kick-off is at 12.30pm and the match is being televised live on Sky Sport.
